Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the ChromaSecure VPN application ("Service"). By downloading or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ChromaSecure VPN. Use of the Service constitutes acceptance of these Terms. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. The Service

ChromaSecure VPN provides a virtual private network service for Android devices using the WireGuard® protocol. The Service encrypts your internet traffic and routes it through our servers to protect your privacy online.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Engage in any illegal activity under applicable law
• Transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content
• Conduct port scanning, network intrusion, or denial-of-service attacks
• Infringe upon intellectual property rights
• Access child sexual abuse material or any content that exploits minors
• Circumvent laws or regulations in your jurisdiction
• Harass, threaten, or harm other individuals
• Engage in fraudulent activities

Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate account termination and, where required by law, cooperation with authorities.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

ChromaSecure offers a free tier and paid subscription plans managed through Google Play in-app purchases. By subscribing:

• You authorise Google Play to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• You may cancel at any time via Google Play's subscription management
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Plan changes take effect at the next billing cycle

5. Free Plan Limitations

The free plan includes 500MB of daily VPN data on one server location. Data resets at midnight UTC. Advertisements are displayed on the free plan via Google AdMob. We reserve the right to change free plan terms with notice.

6. No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM SECURITY VULNERABILITIES. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHROMASECURE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, upgrades, or to address security issues. We will notify users of planned maintenance where reasonably practicable.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without notice, for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any conduct we determine to be harmful. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or, where arbitration is not permitted, in courts of competent jurisdiction.
